under threat of losing my job seekers allowance,i am currently working 30 hours a week for £71.00 or
about £2.40 an hour..i am supposed to learn new skills that will improve my chances of finding work,the
placement i am on is a charity that collects old bycycles for repair and resale,and collect donations from
building sites,such as sand and cement and wood. I have been forced to work under the guise of "it is
for the benefit of the community"(community service?)failure to complete the course is called an offence and
means benefits suspension for 13 weeks.is it now an offence to be unemployed?This is exploitation,slave
labour and low,low wages.Work or starve..this country is going backwards to Victorian times.what next?
labour camps?food rations?..........death squads?
